Here at Pick A Spot our goal is to make our customers happy, and if you are like us the only way you can be completely happy is to be at the top of the ridge with the wind at your nose, dressed in camo, the sun peaking over the hill, clenching your release, body crouched and quivering, you've got a death hold on the grip of your new bow and you are "picking a spot" in your sights behind the front shoulder of a monster buck waiting for the right moment to let your favorite arrow and broad head fly over 300 feet per second to what could be known as one of the most thrilling, intense moments of your life!

Our Tradition

My father started the tradition of archery hunting in my family many years ago. From his experience he knows how difficult it is to take an animal with a bow, so I grew up hearing him tell my brothers and me to "pick a spot". To us and possibly those who are familiar with bow hunting it meant that if we did have a chance for a shot at an animal we should not shoot looking at the entire animal but that we should "pick a spot" on the animal that would show good arrow placement and a sure success. This of course is only possible with great archery equipment and lots of practice. So once you have purchased your compound bow and archery accessories whether you are target practicing or out hunting we encourage you to "PICK A SPOT"!!

The advice of my father to "pick a spot" has proven to work on many occasions for all of us including my brother who took this monster bull elk in 2005.
